The Runics Alphabet · Specimen

Eleven letters. Two strokes each.

Every glyph is the meeting of what came before and what comes next. The grounding stroke is hindsight. The emerging stroke is foresight. The letter is where they meet.

The construction is the principle.

Every glyph in Runics is drawn from exactly two strokes. The first is longer, heavier, anchored — the past, the pattern already written, what can be recalled. The second is shorter, angled off — the inference, what's becoming, what comes next. Stroke weight 7, square-cap, on a 60×80 unit grid.
